What is it?
The HTML tag stripper removes HTML tags (e.g. <p>, <br>, <a>) from text and leaves plain text only.
Why use it?
Useful when text copied from the web includes tags, or when you need the content of an email or comment without markup.
How to use this tool
Paste text that contains HTML; the result with tags removed is shown. Copy the result to use elsewhere.
Processing is done only in the browser; input is not sent to the server.
