How to convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG and save them
- Select the original HEIC or HEIF files. If the photo library does not provide the original, choose a copy saved in the Files app.
- Choose JPG quality and create the results. Compare the original and output sizes.
- Download your JPG files. On iPhone or iPad, Safari downloads can be found in the Downloads folder in the Files app.
Example: Select several HEIC photos together to convert each to JPG, then download the results as one ZIP.
Renaming .heic to .jpg does not convert an image. Only the first frame or image is processed from multi-image files, and original metadata may not be preserved.
